Some areas of the hotel feel a bit dated, especially the dark bathrooms that need updating. It is also located a 10-minute walk off the Camino path, which can be tricky after a long day, and breakfast options felt a bit limited for those with dietary restrictions.

After a long day on the Camino, the cheese sandwiches hit the spot—simple but oh-so-delicious! The luxury of real sheets and a bath made the stay even sweeter. Seriously, a fabulous treat for a solo traveler.

Now, the service? Well, let's just say it was a bit missed—our bar guy could use a refresher.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pousada De Portomarin. The spacious room was beautifully decorated with traditional wooden furniture. The enchanting views of the surrounding countryside from my balcony were just breathtaking. The restaurant offered delicious meals with an outstanding dining atmosphere.

The lack of air conditioning made the summer heat unbearable!!! The dated furnishings and maintenance issues, like a flooding shower, only compounded the discomfort. The distance from the main Camino path is not ideal!!!

I had a lovely stay during my Camino experience, enjoying a spacious room that provided breathtaking views of the beautiful Galician countryside from the balcony. The dinner we had was one of the best among our stops. despite some mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu and the deliciousness of the pork dish I chose. However, breakfast could use a little improvement as it felt mediocre compared to the great dinner experience.

The spacious double room had a beautiful balcony that offered stunning river views, and the gel foot massage machine was a lifesaver after an exhausting day. I truly enjoyed the pool and the sauna for some relaxation after hiking. A small inconvenience was the limited breakfast options, but it didn’t take away from my overall great experience. 😊
